Xiaoyong (Xiaoshan to Ningbo) Railway Elevated Renovation Project of Urban Shaoxing County Section started at the end of 2009. It is predicted that the main item will be completed on December 2011 to realize the connection of urban Shaoxing county.

　　This renovation project is a provincially key one in Zhejiang with the total investment budget hitting 0.97 billion yuan, which starts 1.3 km west of Hudong line to Jingshui Road Bridge in the east, with a total length of 7.8 km. The elevated railroad has a total length of 5.66 km from Jishan Road to Baige Road.

　　The construction company started the project in July last year, for four pile foundation work including the east of grade splitting bridge of textile city, the grade splitting bridge of textile city to Shangshitou community, Shangshitou community to Hongqi road junction, and the west of Hongqi road junction.

　　After the Elevated Renovation Project, the city layout of new urban Keqiao, i.e. the northern is stronger than the southern, will be changed. In addition, “northern part of Shaoxing county extended and southern part enlarged” as well as the strategy of “second business starting” in China Textile City will be impelled and regional integration and urban and rural integration will be promoted and  locals will enjoy the new life of urbanization.
