Not long ago, on the T-stage of Fashion Show Hall of China textile city, the tall models dressed in fashion clothes did the rehearsal under the guidance of the teacher. From now on, the fourth floor of the clothing and fashion accessories market will become the fashion show hall where designers can show their works. This will be an ordinary thing.

Designers settled in China textile city and showed their works first.

The first fashion show was the show of the clothes for the Asian Games held by Jin Hui, one of Top 10 China Fashion Designers and Vice-president of Arts Institute of South China Agricultural University.

The design team of Arts Institute of South China Agricultural University led by Jin Hui provides the clothes for nine individual events of three categories, 15 designs for each event. Finally, they won the best design award of the Guangzhou Asian Games out from the bidding design schemes all around the country. The designed clothes will be dressed by the working staff and volunteers of the Asian Games.

Be the first-class fashion show hall
Besides Jin Hui, there were another two designers having the show. Wang Changhong, associate professor of Harbin Institute of Art and Design and design director of Miluo Fashion Clothes Co., Ltd., gave the fashion show for 2011 spring and summer fashion works. Zhang Lingli, one of top 10 China fashion designers and the judge of China Cup Design Contest, brought her more than 100 designs for the fashion release.
In order to converge more fashion shows and be the domestic first-class fashion show hall suitable for the release of high-end brands, Shaoxing Textile and Clothing Designers Association spent a lot of money on the art design for the stage and lighting of the hall. Chen Qimiao, executive vice-president introduced that the association will start the creative week in October, this year. At that time, more designers will conduct their personal brand show.

Hope more professional visitors to visit
However, compared with the enthusiasm of fashion designers, the professional visitors have no enough enthusiasm to it. As to domestic famous designers and the first-class condition, the local companies may have high passion to the show. However, it is unexpected that the audience has no high enthusiasm. Some designers point out that such kind of activity can attract large numbers of professional audience if it happens in Guangzhou.

“Compared with Guangzhou, Keqiao’s enterprises are not so sensitive to the information. Their thought is relatively conservative.” the related insider said, “to realize the upgrade of the industry need more instructions from the government and the related department.”
