The increase of open economy of Shaoxing county is steadily this first half year, especially for the self-run export trade, which keeps a rapid increase. The whole self-run export and import trade of Shaoxing county is USD 4.87 billion dollars, with the increase of 38.1% compared with the same period of last year, among which the self-run export trade is USD 3.07 billion dollars, with the increase of 35.9%, 9.7% higher than the average amplification of Zhejiang province. The total volume of self-run export and import trade is ranked as the third and second one in Zhejiang province. Although, the amplification of export trade of Shaoxing county to America has been alleviated this first half year, the opening up to new market is violently. Export trade of Shaoxing county to new countries, such as, Latin America and ASEAN hit USD 0.56 dollars and USD 0.31 dollars respectively, with the amplification of 73.5% and 50.4%. In addition, the foreign investment develops steadily compared with the same period of last year. It has the features including bigger projects. There are 31 newly established enterprises invested by foreigners in Shaoxing county this first half year, and the production enterprises invested by Shaoxing enterprise in other countries broke the zero record. In addition, foreigners’ representative offices in Shaoxing county have been increased, optimized structure and more management scale. Focusing on the upgrading and the adjustment in management, the open economy of Shaoxing county will promote the development of export trade through policy, service, attending expositions and booming the market, making use of talents to promote the export trade. Rewards will also be increased to encourage the production enterprises increasing the production and high technological enterprises to export.
