The three-day event of 2018 Keqiao Textile Expo (Spring), Shaoxing China is grandly held in China Textile City International Conversation & Exhibition Center on May 6. With an exhibition area of 34,000 square meters, there are 1392 booths from 540 exhibiting enterprises for spring expo this year.

Founded in 1999, after 20 years’ development, having been one of three famous textile expos, the other two are Shanghai Textile Expo, Canton Fair Textile Expo. Compared to previous years, great exhibitors have greatly increased, specially equipped enterprises are up more than a third, exclusive e booth enterprises are almost tripled, totally reaching more than 460 and make new all-time highs. As is introduced by Pan Jianhua, director of Convention & Exhibition Development Office of Keqiao District, Shaoxing, it’s hard to get an exhibition booth this spring. Textile enterprises such as Zhejiang RGB, Shaoxing Digital, Shaoxing Mulinsen Knitting have reserved raw space. In order to handle the situation of demand-exceeding-supply and make way for fabric exhibitors, exhibition hall entrance and passageway are set up as booths. Meanwhile, the textile machinery exhibition, which was held in the same period with Keqiao Textile Expo in years ago, has to be postponed to the last ten-day of a month alone. Moreover, the exhibition center this year has built hall annex to offer more quality transaction experience for exhibition and procurers, so as to satisfy the development of convention and exhibition industry. 

What’s the reason of being hard to get an exhibition booth? Pan shows, in order to attract investment for the exhibition, staff members of organizing committee took an active part in the invitation of professional visitors. They went to textile industrial clusters such as Zhengzhou, Qingdao, Weifang, Shishi, Guangzhou and Human, and textile chambers of commerce and associations and won collaborative intention with many of the mentioned above. In addition, staff members went for promotion in professional in Myanmar, Hangzhou, Shenzhen and Shanghai, increasing the influence in textile industry of Keqiao Textile Expo.

In 2018 Keqiao Textile Expo (Spring), Shaoxing China, a series of professional, targeted and effective activities such as China-EU Fashion Dream Incubator Opening Ceremony and China-EU Fashion Development Forum will be conducted. At the meantime, 2018 Keqiao Fashion Week will be held during expo time. The events in Keqiao Fashion include The 2nd China Dress Custom Summit Forum And 2018 CNGA Custom Specialized Committee Annual Meeting, WGSM Trendtalk, 2019 China Womenswear Fabric Trend Show/China Top Ten Best Textile Designers Award Ceremony.
