Founded 17 years ago, Keqiao Textile Expo has grown a lot and presented itself as an image full of fashion and brightness, which has become a rising appeal to exhibitors and purchasers. On the opening day, that is May 6 of China Keqiao International Textiles, Fabrics & Accessories Exhibition, Xia Lingmin, vice-president of China National Textile and Apparel Council said that, Keqiao Textile Expo, with 17 years’ unremitting efforts, stands out among numerous domestic fabric exhibitions and becomes an exhibition with great influence which could satisfy both needs of purchasers and exhibitors.

He thought that these years are the critical period of the industry transformation and upgrading. In fields of scientific and technical progress, product development, brand enhancing and the like, more requirements are raised up for textile industry. He deemed that Keqiao Textile Expo has played an increasing part in textile industry. It is not only for demonstration but also for communication. Moreover, it could also drive upstream and downstream industry in to the partnership among the fields of apparels, home textiles and fabrics.

Xia Lingmin emphasized that Keqiao textile industry should set a good example in the period of industry transformation and upgrading. Keqiao is in the dominant position as one of the industry clusters, with its edge of industrial chain and supporting powers. Especially for these years, Keqiao has become the most influential industry cluster. The efforts by Keqiao has brought about positive energy for the whole industry.
