The textile chain covers an overall process including development and design, purchase of raw materials, manufacturing of products, storage logistics, wholesale business and terminal retail. In the future, the competitiveness of products will be mainly reflected in the supply chains. Just on the afternoon of October 25, China Textile City Forum 2014 on the quality and management of supply chain was held in the China Textile City Convention and Exhibition Centre. The attendance discussed about the developing trend of the supply chain of textile materials in the future.
It’s learned that this forum is co-hosted by Chinese Union of Textile Industries Testing Center and China Textile City Building & Management Committee. Deputy director of national textile standardization technology committee and China Textile Information centre, Fu Guangwei delivered a speech at the forum. Fu said, “ the competitiveness of a product is, in fact, reflected in every aspect of the supply chain. The competitiveness of future textile costume industry will be more reflected in the competitiveness of the management of supply chain.” Therefore, Fu appealed to those textile costume companies to catch new opportunities in the supply chain.
Meanwhile, this forum mainly focused on how to future improve the quality management of costume and textile companies. A series of new approaches and solutions came out after this forum, which will be of great significance to the quality management building and the reform innovation of the supply chain. (Keqiao Daily)
