As one of the most
Chinese textile developed zones, Keqiao attracts a large quantity of overseas
traders to open up branch offices in China. Every time when Textile Expo falls,
these old friends in Keqiao will come in great numbers, in order to seek business
opportunities in the busy feast of textiles.
The textile expo
this year appeals to lots of purchasers from over 70 countries and regions such
as America, France, Britain and South Korea. Meanwhile, Taiwan Textile
Federation helps to invite nearly 10 textile agencies to visit the fair. All
contributes by Keqiao textile expo to creating textile-United Nations.
On the fair,
there is an interesting picture of purchasing groups shuttling back and forth,
vying for samples of innovative fabrics where they are displayed.
Overseas
traders, however, could directly attend Overseas Purchasers and Textiles
Enterprises Negotiation Conference and talk to key suppliers face to face,
under the arrangements of the sponsor, apart from hanging around the expo.
Chinese suppliers take the initiative to negotiate with the corresponding
buyers with interpreters and large numbers of samples. Overseas buyers take
notes fast, feeling the fabrics and checking the compositions and crafts. Crowded
in the fast and effective conference, one supplier said, “we smell the business
opportunity in the air.”
