There are over 2 months left to the opening of the Textile Expo that is going to expand this year. Booths number is planed to increase from 800 last year to 1100 this year. Till last week, 90% of the booths were booked.

In order to speed up the formation of C&E industry sector this year, China Textile City Construction & Management Committee will take two aspects of measures. One is for the expansion and upgrading of the previous exhibition and the other is for the introduction and development of the new more exhibitions. No efforts are spared to turn CHINA KEQIAO INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE EXPO into the national top textile exhibition. Upstream-downstream industries such as chemical fiber, weaving, printing and dyeing, clothing, and home textiles are combined into new exhibitions, leading exhibition agencies like China Textile City Exhibition & Convention Co., Ltd and Shanghai Gehua Exhibition Plan Co., Ltd to expand exhibition business, strengthen their enterprises, based on textile-related exhibitions.

Furthermore, a series of activities such as all-dimensional promotion of Keqiao C&E industry, hall, facilities and events were held to strengthen Keqiao in a more prosperous way, so as to introduce more exhibitions and more convention and exhibition companies and agencies. At present, there are C&E companies from Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Xiamen in our county, which acts as exhibition attractions, striving to new fields of equipment manufacturing, automobiles and accessories, leathers and plastics, new types of building materials, metal wares, new energies, biological medicines and housing industrialization and so forth, through their holding exhibitions in Keqiao. This is just in line with the development edge of “5+3+x” strategic emerging industry of our county. In the meantime, on the basis of housing exhibitions, car shows, farm products exhibitions, C&E agencies are encouraged to develop consuming exhibitions with unique brands which aims to advance the city quality, satisfy civilians and influence the surrounding areas. All contributes to drive China Textile City International Convention & Exhibition Center into Shaoxing consuming exhibition center.
