Operation Bureau of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) held a Symposium on Industrial Element Safegurad and Operation in Beijing recently. China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Electricity Committee, China Coal Industry Society, State Administration of Petroleum and Chemical Industry, China Iron & Steel Association, China Building Materials Industry Association, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, China National Light Industry Association, China National Textile And Apparel Industry Council attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that, in order to ensure the power supply of the whole nation and the steady operation of the industry and economy, the following 5 goals have to be achieved: No. 1, get a clear understanding of the situation, pay all our efforts to promote the administration work of the power supply field; No.2, overall planning to keep balance between power supply and demand; No.3, optimize structure, restrain the unreasonable power demand; No.4, conscientiously implement, make complete and ordered power consumption plan; No.5, reinforce coordination, make sure the implementation of various initiatives is making good progress.
