The first B2B (business to business) online business license in China was born in China Textile City. Wang Xindong, the GM of Dehui Textile Company——China Online Textile City branch, received the B2B online business license from China Textile City Division of Shaoxing County Industry and Commerce Bureau on September 16.
“E-commerce is the trend of trade development. With the online business license, our business will be better and better,” said Wang Xindong.
As a businessman in knitting fabric market, Wang Xindong, is also one of the earliest mercers in China Textile City. With the rapid development of E-commerce in recent years, Wang Xindong and many other mercers opened “online shops” and became “online traders” on the“Online Textile City”.
In order to reinforce the management of online merchants and build the “Online Textile City” into an e-commerce platform with good credit, Shaoxing County Industry and Commerce Bureau learn from entity shops, offering the online business licenses initially.
In details, online business license is similar to the paper one, but the scope of business is limited to online retail and wholesale, and the shops must have official registration numbers and legal representatives.
To encourage and guide these businessmen to operate legally and regularly, Shaoxing county government specially set out related policies to award online traders whose annual turnover exceed 100,000 yuan .
At present, 52 online business licenses have been received by mercers in China Textile City. (By Tao Xiaoyu)
