On August 25, the shortlist of Top 500 Private Enterprises in China was released, including 6 enterprises from Shaoxing county, namely, Baoye Construction, Jinggong Group, Tiansheng Holding, Zhongshe Construction, Zhongxia Construction, and Cifu Chemical Fiber.

　　It is the thirteenth Top 500 Private Enterprises shortlist in China released by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. All these top 500 private enterprises realized total revenue beyond RMB 5.06 billion yuan, compared with 2009, with an increase of 1.4 billion yuan, and average operating income hitting 13.97 billion yuan.

　　As the highest ranking private enterprise in Shaoxing county, Zhejiang Baoye Construction Group Co., Ltd is ranked as 120th based on its operating income of 15.18 billion yuan, while other five private enterprises Jinggong Group Co., Ltd, Zhejiang Tiansheng Holding Group Co., Ltd, Zhongshe Construction Group Co., Ltd, Zhongxia Construction Group Co., Ltd and Zhejiang Cifu Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd are ranked as 122nd, 221st, 171st, 306th and 419th respectively based on the operating income of 15.05 billion yuan, 9.98 billion yuan, 8.16 billion yuan, 7.24 billion yuan and 5.67 billion yuan respectively. Compared with the total 9 enterprises ranked into top 500 in 2010, 3 enterprises are out and the highest ranking fell from 77th into 120th.

　　According to the listed enterprises, they are almost from two traditional industries in Shaoxing county including construction industry and textile industry. It shows that the traditional construction industry and textile industry have accumulated strong capital based on dozens of years development. They have become competitive in the market and still play important roles. On the other hand, new industries are comparatively weak for further development.（By Wu Jian）
