On July 13, Heroes Intercontinental Hotel with a total investment of 0.195 billion yuan signed a contract officially in Keqiao World Trade Center. It is a commercial cluster item integrating business, entertainment, leisure and culture. When put into operation, its annual output will hit 0.17 billion yuan with over 1200 more job positions.

　　Confronted with scarce land resources, Keqiao quarter strikes to make full use of current remnant property, and introduce high-level tertiary industry items. According to the statistic, with the cooperation of relevant divisions, Keqiao quarter has activated three remnant property lots, namely, International Square, Keqiao World Trade Center, and Textile Sci-Tech Center, with a total floor space of 232,900 m2, for three new items, namely, Longxi Center, Heroes Intercontinental Hotel, and Home Inns.

　　As the key area of Shaoxing county with the accelerated urbanization, tertiary industry in Shaoxing county has been more and more prosperous, Keqiao quarter has been an ideal place for commercial investment. At present, several tertiary industry items have been set up in Keqiao.

　　With a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan, three new items including Longxi Center, Heroes Intercontinental Hotel and Home Inns will realize the annual turnover 1.2 billion yuan, with over 2000 job positions added. Furthermore, Longxi center and Heroes Intercontinental Hotel will lead the tertiary industry in Keqiao into a commercial cluster to improve the city image of Keqiao.( By Wu Jian)
