Founded in 1988, China Textile City is the first national professional market with "China" as part of the name.

At present, China Textile City has basically formed four distinctive textile trade platforms, i.e. Traditional Trade Zone in the south part, International Trade Zone in the middle part, Market Innovation Zone in the north part, and Textile Raw Materials Trade Zone in the west part.

Covering a market area of almost 3 million square meters at present, China Textile City has more than 18,000 business rooms. It makes transactions for more than 30,000 kinds of fabrics; the daily customer flow is over 100,000 person- times. There are nearly 4,000 overseas permanent purchasers and nearly700 permanent overseas representative agencies. Goods here are sold to 187 countries and regions. Therefore, China Textile City has achieved an annual market turnover up to RMB 100 billion Yuan.
