Shaoxing County Printing and Dyeing Association was officially established through the efforts of Shaoxing Wanfeng Chemical Co., Ltd, Zhejiang Xingli Textile Finishing Co., Ltd, and Zhejiang Yatai Extra-Broadloom Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. “Under such a severe economic situation, it is really difficult for enterprises to compete alone in the market. We hope to get assistance from the association, our big family.” All the presidents in charge of the enterprises revealed their sincere original intention.

　　 Being affected by the international financial crisis, many enterprises felt the unprecedented “coldness”. It has been a good recipe for the enterprises to pull through the severe winter by protecting their rights and strengthening anti-risk capability from the Association. 50 new members were added to Shaoxing County Printing and Dyeing Association in 2008, which is a double compared with last year. Up till now, there are over 180 members in Shaoxing County Printing and Dyeing Association with the enrollment rate over 90%.

　　 “A heap of loose sand” was used to depict the situation of the printing and dyeing industry in Shaoxing County since many enterprises had their own different ideas. However, the Association has congregated most of them like a magnet.

　　 “It is the solidarity of the members of the Association that enhances the industrial self-discipline and displays the merits of group development through several solid steps taken by the Association.” said Mr. Chen Quansheng, Secretary of Shaoxing County Printing and Dyeing Association.  “The magnetic force of the association derives not only from the demand of cooperative power to compete in the market but from the teamwork itself which is a self-evident advantage in cooperation and competition.” A few days ago, at a coordinating conference of the Association, through careful diagnosis, each member sincerely airs his own ideas to help deal with the deficit problem of a chemical printing and dyeing enterprise. The person in charge of this enterprise remarked emotionally, “I feel really grateful that so many brother enterprises can come to help me out of such a dilemma. The Association has offered a magnificent platform.”
