¡¡ After Spring Festival, our reporter found quite a few new faces in China Textile City. According to relevant statistics, another 300 odd marketers from other towns as Xucun, Lin’an, Ci’xi have been added to China Textile City within 6 days in the new year.

¡¡¡¡ Curtain fabric marketers are busy in showing samples in booths in the third floor in North Six Trading Zone these days though they were once disused. More and more curtain fabric marketers have gathered here so that over 100 marketers have established in North Six Zone this year.

¡¡¡¡ There are also more marketers from Ci’xi and Jiangsu establishing in Dongsheng Road Knitting Fabric Market. Mr. Ye said, “The first level knitting fabric wholesale market in Keqiao results from the concentration effect of the Textile City. The market segmentation further improves the market cohesion and attract more enterprises from other cities.”

¡¡¡¡ More and more foreign textile businessmen come to China Textile City, while local enterprises also seize the opportunity actively to develop themselves. Xiansheng Textile, located in the East Market, is a booth established by Xiansheng Textile Company. It focuses on export trade in the past years. After the Spring Festival, Xiansheng rent a booth at high price and adjusted the development theory to lay more emphasis on product R&D to open up import market.

¡¡¡¡ According to person in charge of Textile City Development and Management Committee, they will improve the market cohesion through market programming, high quality market management and service to build China Textile City into a “Global Textile Center ”.
