Award to China Exposition Industry”, China Textile City International Exposition Center was in the shortlist of “2009 Excellent China Exposition Centers”.

¡¡¡¡ China (Keqiao) International Textile Exposition was established ten years ago, which is the state level professional textile exposition approved by the State Council. It has two sections (Spring and Autumn) in one year since 2008 after the reform when China (Keqiao) International Textile Exposition was integrated with other famous textile product expositions in the world. Being influenced by the gist that “Keqiao prospers with the exposition”, Exposition Industry Management Proposals came out, and a series of expositions including orchid exposition, originality industry exposition and dyeing and printing & knitting and new technologies exposition follow consequently. The Textile Exposition has taken the leading role in economic booming in Shaoxing County.

¡¡¡¡ The first phase project of China Textile City International Exposition Center was officially put into use last April. In it, there are 1000 standard booths. The construction of the comprehensive hall begins at the end of 2009 and it is predicted that the total construction area will hit 78,900 m2, which will be one of biggest halls in Zhejiang province.

¡¡¡¡ “Textile exposition has become more and more famous resulting in bigger and bigger influence.” Mr. Chen Zeyan, Chief secretary of China Exposition Economy Research Association, said, “exposition is not only a tertiary action, but also an effective platform to publicize the city. I saw the vigor of exposition industry in China as I eyed to Keqiao.”

¡¡¡¡ Besides the three awards mentioned above, 2009 China (Keqiao) International Textile Exposition has been the candidate of the top ten expositions of 2009 China Textile and Garment Industry hosted by China Textile Industry Association as well as “China Ten Years Innovation Award of Exposition in New Century”.
